How to Get Free Vaccines

VVFA (Virginia Vaccines for Adults)

Uninsured and underinsured adults (including those who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19) are eligible for free vaccines through the VVFA program.

VVFC (Virginia Vaccines for Children)

Uninsured and underinsured children (regardless of their parents’ insurance status) are eligible for free vaccines through the Virginia Vaccines for Children Program (VVFC).

Cover Virginia

Virginia’s Medicaid, FAMIS programs for children, pregnant women, and adults. Virginia Medicaid has low-cost and no-cost health coverage programs. FAMIS (Family Access to Medical Insurance Security Plan)

FAMIS is Virginia's health insurance program for children. It makes health care affordable for children of families who qualify. FAMIS covers all the medical care that growing children need to stay healthy. It also covers medical care if they get sick or hurt.
